So its Monday time for another weigh in day :)
As we all know last week I didn't gain anything but I also didn't lose anything not even a tenth of a pound. But I made up for it this week :) I'm now at 282.8 making for another 7 lb lost and a total loss of 67. 2 lbs :) Sorry for all the smiley faces today I'm just in a really good mood today.
Let me just list the things that I have to be thankful for this morning :)
1. I woke up. That is something everyone should always be thankful for when they wake up.
2. I have a loving puppy that woke me up playing
3. I lost 7 lbs
4. I'm packing to go to OKC (the packing will start right after this post)
5. I get to spend time with my kids and its more than just one night ... Ok they aren't really MY kids but they are and I miss them terribly
Just a couple of things I mean there is always more to add :)
And as for my other workouts they are going well I did them Saturday and this morning but took Sunday off. While I'm in OKC I'm going to have Ella teach me her gymnastics conditioning. It may take me awhile before I can make it through the whole thing but I won't ever be able to if I don't at least try first :)
Well I should get off here and onto laundry and packing because I want to get there as soon as possible. I miss the whole Barrington Family and can not wait to see them :)
In mid September 2011 I decided to change my lifestyle. And now in 2012 I plan on taking it a step further.

Training Day 6 :-)
So as the title hints today was training day 6. And man did it feel amazing. I'm not going to lie it's Saturday morning and I really wanted to stay in bed but man did it feel good when I did get out and run.
Until today I've been having a hard time running up the hills so by the end those intervals I've been walking but not today. Today I ran the whole intervals even up hill.
I love running and the way it makes me feel afterwards :-)

Training Day 5 :)
Well I got up to run this morning at 5:30am but then decided it was snowing and too cold to run when the sun wasn't even up yet. So I decided that I would go back to bed and run whenever I had time today. And since I didn't get a call today to sub that free time was when I woke up at 7:45.
It was still snowing when I went out but at least the sun was out by this time. All I have to say is I think it's pretty hard core to run with the snow hitting you in the face :) But I also say that it may not have been the best idea seeing as I'm still coughing from it.
As of today I have also decided that I will be adding in other workouts to go along with my running (which I do on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday) and only have one day off a week. I 'm doing this because while running will help me lose weight all over I want to also tone my upper body. Going to walmart today to buy some weights :)

Playing Catch Up!
Alright so I'm playing catch up :)
These last couple of days have been a couple of whirlwind days.
I was in Atlanta from Thursday until Sunday. Where I walked everywhere and it didn't even phase me (I actually had to remind myself to slow down so I wasn't way ahead of the group) where before this lifestyle change I would have been at the end of the group breathing hard and not wanting to walk at all. But for my training I did keep up with my running on a treadmill (because I'm too scared to run the streets of downtown Atlanta by myself) which while I did it I didn't love it. I feel all weird when I step off the treadmill like I don't know where my feet are hitting. After Atlanta I drove to Oklahoma City on Monday for a night.
While in OKC I got up Tuesday morning and ran around the Barrington's neighborhood and man was it nice to hit the road again and not a treadmill. The jog part of the intervals are getting longer which means its getting harder but I'm doing it with more ease than I thought I would :)
You may be thinking to your self ..... Hmmmm I wonder if she weighed on Monday. Well yes I did and while I didn't lose anything while in Atlanta, I also did not gain anything at all not even a .00 but I also have to remind myself that I'm gaining muscle too by running. I mean ask everyone that sees me my clothes are falling off of me! Talitha even pointed out that my running clothes are too big and I need to buy some new clothes. And while I've bought some new clothes so I have a two outfits that fit me right. I'm not going to buy a ton of clothes just for them to be replaced in a couple of weeks :) Although while in Atlanta I bought a couple of shirts from Re Effect I bought them a couple of sizes smaller than I need :)

Day 2.....
So here comes training day 2 :-)
We started off the morning on the road again at 5:30 in the morning therefore I didn't running in the morning like I normally like to do. Because of this I had to wait until we checked into te hotel which was 9:30 tonight so by the time I got changed and into the fitness center it was 10.
Let me just say that while I will keep up my running while traveling I really hate running on a treadmill. Being in the same place the whole time and staring at the same spot on the way. It makes it ten times harder to run but I did it.
Also I'm really proud of myself because I still haven't allowed myself off my calorie count even though we are traveling.

Traveling Day :-)
So this morning I hit the road and am currently making my way across Tennessee into North Carolina. I'm driving with Amy and David Birks making our way to Atlanta but we are dropping Victoria (their daughter) off at her nana and pops.
Anyway, today was my day off of running (which is good cause we left at 5:30am) but man am I sore from yesterday which I'm sure is magnified since I've been sitting still most of the day. But normally when I travel my snack bag includes chips, candy bars, jolly ranchers, and lots of Dr Pepper. However last night when I went to the store last night I grab veggie tray, oranges, applesauce, and lots of water. It was weird and cool at the same time because I had no desire to even pick up my "staple" travel items. It was a really good feeling knowing that I'm getting to the point where I don't even look at those things. Also when your eating right lunch breaks take a little longer because you don't just run through the drive-thru and get fast food.
Well tomorrow we leave for Atlanta at 4:30am so I think I'm going to leave my running for the day until we get to the hotel. I don't really want to go running in a unfamiliar place at 3:30 in the morning.
Appearently my dad stated the other day with me losing all this weight he has to get the shot guns out again to keep the guys away.
Well I think that's all for today. Sorry if something is spelled wrong or written without proper grammar these next couple of days I'm writing from my phone and it a little hard to read it over on this little screen.

Day One...
So this is the first time I will publicly tell anyone besides my parents my starting weight in September!
In mid September I started at 350lbs. Yes I knew I was heavy but never really thought it was that much! At that point in time I made a pack to myself that I would be down to 300lbs by Christmas..... A week before Christmas I was 1lb away from my goal and decided not to step on the scale again until Christmas Eve. So on Christmas Eve I stepped onto the scale hoping for just 1lb lighter. However, I did not lose 1lb I ....... LOST 5 more lbs. So in 3 1/2 months I lost 54lbs and 2 pant sizes!!!!!!!!
Now that I have had a jump start going into the new year I plan on taking it a step further in 2012.
My ultimate goal is to get into the size 12 pants (which I can't remember the last time if fit into) sitting on my dresser and to lose 120lbs but until that happens I just want to be small enough that I can go into any store and buy something off the rack because the only thing I hate more than being big is only being able to shop in 2 or 3 stores or online!
The way I plan on doing this is to keep up my new eating style and by starting to train for a 5K and today was my first day!
Today I ran/walked 1.14 miles in a little under 20 mins plus the 5 min warm-up and cool-down which is not calculated into the the distance and time.
I would be lying to myself if I said it wasn't hard at all because it was but I made it through the entire workout with giving up! And man did it make me feel amazing.
