Not much to report today but it was a weight in day so here we go........ I weighed at 266.8 so that means I'm down 2.6 lbs making a total of 82.6. Man does that good to say :)
On my last run I ran 20 mins straight with a 16 min pace and I didn't walk at all. I was very proud of myself. Well I know its not much to report but it is something!
See you guys next week :)
A new lifestyle, a new body, a new ME!
In mid September 2011 I decided to change my lifestyle. And now in 2012 I plan on taking it a step further.

One is better than nothing!
As the title hints I only lost a lb this week but as the title also says one is better than nothing. Its even better than adding pounds. This means that I am now down 80.6 lb. Now I can tell in my clothes (and so can everyone else) but I don't see it in the mirror. However after putting up pictures in my office and looking at those I can really tell.
I don't have much new stuff happening in the fitness section of my life, running is going well even tho last night killed me running in the wind. I felt like there were times that my feet were moving but my body wasn't moving at all. However, I believe that how happy you are plays into a healthier you and man oh man am I as happy as can be right now.
I don't remember if I mentioned last week that I got a new job but I did. I am now back in Oklahoma City and working at The Salvation Army Divisional Headquarters. I started last Wednesday and have been having fun there ever since. I work for three amazing bosses (and I don't just say that because people that read this know them, I really do love working for them) and have wonderful friends in the same building that I love getting to see everyday.
Now for the most exciting thing that has made me the happiest girl EVER! As of a week now I have had the pleasure of calling a very sweet man named Barret my boyfriend!!!!!! I'm sure that I'm bias but he is great and I love spending time with him.
I Love how everything is starting to fall into place....smaller waist size, steady and fun job, and an amazing boyfriend! Man I'm not sure life can get any better!

Oh my, oh my am I behind!
Man life has been crazy busy lately, but in a very very good way. Since my last post sooo much has happened. I went skiing for the first time ever and that was a ton of fun. I moved back to Oklahoma City and start a new job tomorrow. Now onto the fitness stuff.
I'm restarting week 5 again this week. If you do the math I should be onto week 7 however the first time I tired to start week 5 I pulled a muscle so I took the week off to let it heal before skiing. Than last week I tired again and then found out I got the job so I ended up packing and unpacking on the days that I would normally run but after all that I'm getting back on track and sticking to it. Now for my weigh in!
Now I was super nervous about this because I haven't been running but I was still eating right and counting my calories. I am now down to 270.6 lbs making for a total loss of 79.4 lbs.... Holy Cow I've almost lost 80 lbs. So these results just go to show you all the facts out there saying that 70% of weight loss is what you eat and 30% is exercise. Now I'm not saying that, that means you can just eat right and lose all that you want to lose. It for me just hammers home even more the fact that you can't out exercise a bad diet.
Right before I moved I started a couple of fun visual things for my weight loss journey.
The first is two jars labeled "Weight to Lose" and "Weight Lost" with crystals in them equaling 1,800 crystal between the two (100 for every 10lbs I will lose by the end of the journey). For every tenth of a lb I lose I move a crystal from weight to lose to weight lost. For which today I get to move 64 crystals over :)
The second one is a Clothes Fund. I have already been complaining that I really need to go clothes shopping for some clothes even more so dress clothes because everything is sooooooo baggy on me. However, I know that I don't need to buy to much because they won't last for long either. This jar is not for the those time tho. This is for the end result. The thought behind this is to put a dollar into the clothes fund for every workout I do. I backed tracked and added money for all my previous couch to 5k workouts. But this way when I reach my goal weight I can have all this extra money saved up for a nice shopping spree in a normal store not a plus size store. That is really what I'm looking forward to being able to do. The only problem with this is that I need to remember to have cash in my wallet even more so have ones in my wallet because right now I have some IOU's in there because I didn't not have any one dollar bills lately.
Anyways, sorry for the time I spent away from this blog but let it be known that I did not give up on this new lifestyle .... its very addicting :)

Weigh in day :)
So its Monday time for another weigh in day :)
As we all know last week I didn't gain anything but I also didn't lose anything not even a tenth of a pound. But I made up for it this week :) I'm now at 282.8 making for another 7 lb lost and a total loss of 67. 2 lbs :) Sorry for all the smiley faces today I'm just in a really good mood today.
Let me just list the things that I have to be thankful for this morning :)
1. I woke up. That is something everyone should always be thankful for when they wake up.
2. I have a loving puppy that woke me up playing
3. I lost 7 lbs
4. I'm packing to go to OKC (the packing will start right after this post)
5. I get to spend time with my kids and its more than just one night ... Ok they aren't really MY kids but they are and I miss them terribly
Just a couple of things I mean there is always more to add :)
And as for my other workouts they are going well I did them Saturday and this morning but took Sunday off. While I'm in OKC I'm going to have Ella teach me her gymnastics conditioning. It may take me awhile before I can make it through the whole thing but I won't ever be able to if I don't at least try first :)
Well I should get off here and onto laundry and packing because I want to get there as soon as possible. I miss the whole Barrington Family and can not wait to see them :)

Training Day 6 :-)
So as the title hints today was training day 6. And man did it feel amazing. I'm not going to lie it's Saturday morning and I really wanted to stay in bed but man did it feel good when I did get out and run.
Until today I've been having a hard time running up the hills so by the end those intervals I've been walking but not today. Today I ran the whole intervals even up hill.
I love running and the way it makes me feel afterwards :-)

Training Day 5 :)
Well I got up to run this morning at 5:30am but then decided it was snowing and too cold to run when the sun wasn't even up yet. So I decided that I would go back to bed and run whenever I had time today. And since I didn't get a call today to sub that free time was when I woke up at 7:45.
It was still snowing when I went out but at least the sun was out by this time. All I have to say is I think it's pretty hard core to run with the snow hitting you in the face :) But I also say that it may not have been the best idea seeing as I'm still coughing from it.
As of today I have also decided that I will be adding in other workouts to go along with my running (which I do on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday) and only have one day off a week. I 'm doing this because while running will help me lose weight all over I want to also tone my upper body. Going to walmart today to buy some weights :)
Well I'm out to get ready for the day. Hope everyone has an amazing day :)

Playing Catch Up!
Alright so I'm playing catch up :)
These last couple of days have been a couple of whirlwind days.
I was in Atlanta from Thursday until Sunday. Where I walked everywhere and it didn't even phase me (I actually had to remind myself to slow down so I wasn't way ahead of the group) where before this lifestyle change I would have been at the end of the group breathing hard and not wanting to walk at all. But for my training I did keep up with my running on a treadmill (because I'm too scared to run the streets of downtown Atlanta by myself) which while I did it I didn't love it. I feel all weird when I step off the treadmill like I don't know where my feet are hitting. After Atlanta I drove to Oklahoma City on Monday for a night.
While in OKC I got up Tuesday morning and ran around the Barrington's neighborhood and man was it nice to hit the road again and not a treadmill. The jog part of the intervals are getting longer which means its getting harder but I'm doing it with more ease than I thought I would :)
You may be thinking to your self ..... Hmmmm I wonder if she weighed on Monday. Well yes I did and while I didn't lose anything while in Atlanta, I also did not gain anything at all not even a .00 but I also have to remind myself that I'm gaining muscle too by running. I mean ask everyone that sees me my clothes are falling off of me! Talitha even pointed out that my running clothes are too big and I need to buy some new clothes. And while I've bought some new clothes so I have a two outfits that fit me right. I'm not going to buy a ton of clothes just for them to be replaced in a couple of weeks :) Although while in Atlanta I bought a couple of shirts from Re Effect I bought them a couple of sizes smaller than I need :)
